The Highland Mint presents the John Elway Hall Of Fame Induction Photomint. Elway, the first overall pick of the 1983 NFL Draft, played 16 seasons with the Denver Broncos. He is one of two players in NFL history to pass for more than 50,000 yards in a career. A master of fourth-quarter comebacks, Elway capped his career by earning Most Valuable Player honors in Super Bowl XXXIII. Each Hall of Fame Photo Mint features TWO 24KT GOLD overlay coins. One coin features the players respective team logo and the second coin features the names of the 2004 Inductees with their respective teams and years they played.
